# Delete HEIC files that already have a JPG copy

**Location:** `/opt/scripts/docker_scripts/delete_heic_jpg.sh` and `/opt/scripts/docker_scripts/delete_jpg_heic.sh` (56 lines each)

## Purpose
Two mirror-image clean-up scripts for use after converting photos. Each works in the **current folder only**:
- `delete_heic_jpg.sh` deletes each `.heic` file that has a matching `.jpg` (keeps the JPG).
- `delete_jpg_heic.sh` deletes each `.jpg` file that has a matching `.heic` (keeps the HEIC).

Extensions are matched in any case.

## How it runs
By hand, from inside the photo folder.

## Usage
```
cd /path/to/photos
/opt/scripts/docker_scripts/delete_heic_jpg.sh dry-run   # show what would go
/opt/scripts/docker_scripts/delete_heic_jpg.sh           # delete
```

## Dependencies
bash only.

## What it touches
Deletes files in the current folder. The log goes to stderr.
